Léo Zhang is a multidisciplinary visual artist born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia. His work utilises digital materials in conversation with the physical juxtaposed with fluid and dynamic imagery. His work emphasises movement surrounding issues of transnational migrations and globalization. Born to Chinese immigrant parents, his work focuses on topics of familial connections and the development of cultural canons across borders.

David Alston Askew is a Black, Queer painter from Virginia Beach, Virginia and is a current Aunspaugh fellow with the University of Virginia’s Art department. Their work is an exploration of self identity through abstract portraiture and is used as a tool for self reflection of how they perceive their sense of self and place in society.
