Art History Graduate Association

Founded in the 1990-1991 academic year, the Art History Graduate Association (AHGA) serves as a forum in which to advocate for the interests of Art and Architectural History graduate students to departmental and university administrators, provide academic and professional development opportunities related to the field, and foster a sense of community.
Starting in 2019, AHGA hosts a Graduate Symposium, which is an educational and networking event that encourages exchanges in the field of art history and beyond, and brings together students from the University of Virginia and other institutions.
